John Hoyland was a leading abstract British painter. His art prints were led by simply shapes, high-key colour and flat picture surface. His works find inspiration in his travels around the world; America, Australia, Caribbean, Europe and South America as well as his close friendships with leading contemporary artists such as Anthony Caro and Patrick Caulfield. This gorgeous piece is from a series of 8 Etchings made in Italy in 1989.
